1. Information We Collect

When you use ClearPath Plans, we collect the following information:

• Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number (if provided)
• Business Information: Any business details, financials, product descriptions, market information, or strategic context you submit through our intake forms
• Payment Information: Stripe processes all payments. We do not directly store credit card numbers or sensitive payment details on our servers
• Usage Information: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps (via standard website analytics)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide for the following purposes:

• Deliver Services: Process your order and generate your business plan, presentation review, or website deliverables
• Communicate: Send order confirmations, delivery notifications, revision requests, and customer support responses
• Improve Our Services: Analyze usage patterns and feedback to improve product quality and user experience
• Comply with Law: Meet legal obligations, enforce terms, and protect against fraud or abuse

We do not use your information for marketing or promotional purposes without your consent.

3. AI Processing Disclosure

Your business information is processed by artificial intelligence systems (Claude by Anthropic) to generate your deliverables. This processing includes:

• Data Processing: Your submission data is sent to Anthropic's APIs to generate analysis, strategic reviews, financial projections, and written content
• No Training on Customer Data: Anthropic's commercial API agreement explicitly prohibits using customer data to train or fine-tune Anthropic's models. Your business information will not be used to improve Claude or any other AI system
• Human Review: All AI-generated content is reviewed and refined by a human strategist before delivery to ensure quality and relevance

By using ClearPath Plans, you acknowledge and consent to this AI processing under Anthropic's commercial terms.

4. Data Sharing

We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Stripe: Payment processor. We share only the information necessary to process your payment (name, email, payment method)
• Anthropic: AI processing. Your business information is shared to generate deliverables under their commercial API terms (no training on customer data)
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or government request, we may disclose your information

We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or any other purpose.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information and business data for up to two (2) years from the date of your last order, unless you request earlier deletion. This includes:

• Support revision requests and customer inquiries
• Maintain records for business and tax purposes
• Provide continuity if you place future orders

After 2 years, we delete your personal information unless we are required by law to retain it longer. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting hello@clearpathplans.ai with your order details. We will delete your personal information within 30 days, though we may retain aggregated or anonymized data for analytics.

6. Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses essential cookies required for basic site functionality only:

• Session Cookies: Maintain your session while browsing
• Functionality Cookies: Remember your preferences (language, form inputs)

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. We use Netlify Analytics to collect anonymized usage data. Netlify Analytics is a privacy-focused, server-side analytics tool that does not use cookies or track individual users.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect site functionality.

7. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know: Request what personal information we collect, use, and share
• Delete: Request deletion of your personal information (with limited exceptions)
• Opt-Out of Sale: Opt out of any “sale” of your personal information (we do not sell your data, so there is nothing to opt out of)

8. Children's Privacy

ClearPath Plans is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information immediately. 9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:

• SSL/TLS Encryption: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted
• Secure Storage: Personal information is stored on secure, access-controlled servers
• Access Controls: Only authorized personnel have access to your information

However, no security system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

10. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of discovery via the email address associated with your order, and will take immediate steps to contain and remediate the breach. We will provide details of the breach, the type of data affected, and recommended steps you should take to protect yourself.
